You relise to get that a heavy would be at lest a 30% movement penalty? You want heavies to simply be slow moving turrets? And that is only proto suits that get 5 slots, meanwhile every other suits gets at least 6 and an equipment slot.
Fair and balanced? Right?
No, Heavy needs more slots, at least 6 like all the others, or more than a 50 point HP bonus. |

FIRSTLY: you did not have to post the ENTIRE patch note to make your point, you only needed to copy and paste the specific heavy related notes and if you were feeling really good, the link to the actual forum post.
SECONDLY: its not as bad as you think it is. If you thought about it you might actually know why. The sharpshooter skill for ALL weapons no longer effects range on rifles. So what does this mean? it means 1.) no more across the map laser snipes, 2.) no more across the map AR snipes 3.) no more across the map SMG snipes 4.) no more across the map..... do you get the point?? No more sniping heavies across the map with anything less then a sniper rifle = A HEAVY BUFF.
Now my heavy sharpshooter skill is zero and I can still do great with an HMG, after may 6th if you get killed "at range" by somebody then its your own fault because 9 times out of 10 the shooter is going to be at a range that you "should have" been able to kill him at too. The HMG nerf just makes the lack of sharpshooter more smooth because now things should be more or less proportionate to before except everyones at a much closer range..... oh wait a second..... closer range?? isn't that what heavies like/need?? (buff).....
THIRDLY: not that its official or anything but I did see a bit of notes on the.... patch notes?? and it said that ALL HEAVY SUITS WILL COST THE EQUIVALENT OF ASSAULT SUITS ON THE SAME META LEVEL. (Heavy Proto Vk. 1 = 90k instead of 250k now)......... (BUFF). It also said the same with all weapons too, AND it even said that adv level gear and lower costs less then it used too...... so basically that's one massive buff.
THEN FINALLY I heard somewhere on here that the HP count for heavies is buffing up a bit (like having the possibility of having 1500 health). that's not official but in any case I would say this build is more or less ONE MASSIVE HEAVY BUFF. so quit your whining and actually read the entire patch note before you go crying on the forums. |

A heavy in addition to the 1000hp he can now get using armor tanking, has 400 base shields + either a complex shield extender or a damage mod. |

Nope, they can get about 1300 HP max atm, which will still be melted by ARs.
All anyone has to do is sprint our of the HMGs terrible range, turn and shoot the heavy.
Heavies are now strictly for camping around corners.
look, 4 complex plates is a 40% movement pentle. That means a heavy will move at about 3/ms. Most non-heavy suits sprint at what? 6/ms? |

can now more easily be splated by said LAV, lazer tag even MORE deadly, AND AR's can lol as the bunny hop around our slow asses.

Because as of now the best way to stack HP in there reduces our already slow movement. Maybe that will change when the new armor modules come out but who knows...

Yeah are we playing the same game?My fits right now that are just absolutely devoted to HP have 590 shield and 1060 Health. And that is with a 20% movement penalty, so my already slow ass is down to ~2.8 m/s. Needless to say I don't play that class much.
TLDR: 1600 != 2000, especially not with a movement penalty as stiff as it is. |
