Not sure why this is "scouts rejoice" though - after checking fits with stacking penalties applied to dampeners, proto Gallente scouts now need all four slots to avoid 15dB scanners... not a very likely fit. Medium suits can't dodge them at all!
Heh, you are right. What i meant to emphasize is that this update is targeted at scouts, as it enables stacking penalty on those modules, and scouts will no longer have to do the maths by hand (woohoo, rejoice). But i guess the actual outcome isn't great news for scouts
Thanks for the vote of confidence guys, in regards to resticky. Maybe try a petition. And keep posting here if you find any discrepancies or bugs. |

Another vote for sticky.
DFT is great +1
Oh and even though it sucks that only the Gallente Scout can hide from the focused scanner it really isn't that much of a problem since using that scanner severly gimps your ability to defend yourself. So if you know that the focused is the only one that can detect you and you suddenly get the message about having been scanned down you can easily time it so that the next time that person scans you down you are ready to attack. ( 5 sec scan time, visible for 5 secs after last scan + the scanner can't tell a scout apart from anyone else ) Those 5 seconds that the scanner is forced to hold out the scanner is your window to attack a, nearly, helpless target.

Guess you don't know that sprinting and switching weapons can put away your scanner before the scan is duration has elapsed...
Not to mention that it's harder to tell which red dot has the scanner than it is to tell which red dot is the scout. The one that appears with your Focused scan that didn't appear on your squadmate's advanced scan is probably the scout, or a dampened medium like me :) |

Hey Hydra, excellent tool.
I would just like to note that the Fitting Tool's stats on militia plates is inaccurate and could use an update. I imagine there will be other changes with 1.6, though.
Just an FYI. Also: can I send you iskies to say thanks?

All (ferroscale, reactive) militia armor plates? Or just the regular ones? I remember 1.4 made changes to armor plates, but CCP change notes explicitly talked about Basic, Enhanced and Complex, no mention of Militia. I will check Militia when i get home. If you can post the discrepancy here as well, this would help me
p.s. iskies are always welcomed :)

Just the plain ol' vanilla variety. Pretty sure Militia and Militia BPO were bumped to 85HP, same as basics. They just have higher fit requirements.

Released 3.4.4 Fixed 4th and 5th High Slots being swapped on Simple Fitting Tool. This is a cosmetic change only and did not affect validity of any fits. Thanks to Kaze Eyrou for noticing
3.4.3 Fixed Militia Armor Plates and BPO to be inline with the Basic variant, increased the Armor bonus and reduced the Movement Penalty. Thanks to Disturbingly Bored

You are right about the skills. Changing those is the one most time consuming and tedious task when maintaining DFT. So far all i have to go on is this: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=117279&find=unread which unfortunately doesn't tell me enough about the skills that would be added.
Adding the weapons themselves is the easy part. Since CCP is posting such nice WIP charts, i am hopeful there will be a Final chart like this as well.

So we all got the Black Eagles Scout G/1 prefit suits, so when are you going to update the tool to reflect their final spec? Here's what I've found that seems to differ from the data in the tool right now:
'Black Eagle' Scout G/1-Series
'Black Eagle' Shotgun
- Rate of Fire: 85.71 RPM
- Accuracy Rating: 34.25
'Black Eagle' Assault Rifle
'Carnifax' Locus Grenade
- Splash Damage: 450.00 HP
- Blast Radius: 5.00m
- Max Ammo: 2
Also I noticed in Skills, you have Gallente Medium Dropsuits listed after Gallente Assault Dropsuits. And since you're putting in placeholders for future dropsuit categories, why not add the Commando Heavy dropsuit placeholders for the other races, as well as the Pilot Light dropsuits that already have a market category waiting for them? |

I must be the only one now who doesn't have a black eagle suit. Can you please post the CPU/PG of the Carnifax nades?
Interesting how Black Eagle varies by 0.01 from other gear... I will update once i have those CPU/PG.
As for skills, problem is i don't know how many things future skills will affect. And if i will have to add more rows later for that, it's same amount of work as adding placeholders now (yes i know i already have some, but that's already done). Re-arranging skills in the most tedious and error-prone area when maintaining DFT.

hydraSlav, I have some suit data for you:
Staff Recruiter Militia Frame BPO PG - 25 kW CPU - 150 gF Shield - 210 HP Armor - 140 HP Shield Recharge Rate - 15.00 HP/s Shield Recharge Delay - 5.00 s Shield Depleted Recharge Delay - 8.00 s Armor Repair Rate - 0.00 HP/s Movement Speed - 500 m/s Sprint Speed - 7.00 m/s Sprint Duration - 1500 s Stamina - 150.00 Stamina Recovery Rate - 15.00 /s Scan Profile - 50 dB Scan Precision - 55 dB Scan Radius - 10.00 m Melee Damage - 110.00 HP
Dropsuit Small Capacity Grenade - 1 Dropsuit High-Slot Module - 2 Dropsuit Equipment - 1 Dropsuit Low-Slot Module - 1 Dropsuit Sidearm Weapon - 1 Dropsuit Light Weapon - 1
Above stats are slightly different from the Militia Caldari Medium Frames. Since I don't think many of these will be floating around, it's up to you whether you want to add them to your suit database.
Appearance-wise the suit itself is interesting, with the white plates of the Advanced Cal Assault over a greenish-gray jumpsuit accented with red, instead of the usual all black. |

Hydraslav,s
I need a little help in understanding a calc that I can't seem to figure out.
Any medium frame has a profile of 50bd, nice n easy to work with this number
so loaded a suit and added 1 complex profile dampener - reduction 25% or 12.5 - spreadsheet shows 37.5 = correct remove module set dampener skill to level 1 = sheet shows profile of 49 - correct - all correct through to level 5
all correct at each level lvl 1 = 49 or 2% or - 1 lv2 = 48 or 4% - 2 lv3 = 47 or 6% - 3 lv4 = 46 or 8% - 4 lv5 = 45 or 10% - 5
now add a complex and level 1 skill should see 50-12.5-1 = 36.5 - sheet shows - 36.75 same but level 2 50-12.5-2 = 35.5 sheet shows - 36 L3 50 - 12.5 - 3 = 34.5 sheet shows - 35.25 L4 50 - 12.5 - 4 = 33.5 sheet shows - 34.5 L5 50 - 12.5 - 5 = 32.5 sheet shows - 33.75
The only thing i can think of is the stacking penalty but, the stacking penalty is only applied to additional modules past the first UNLESS. !! CCP includes the base skill as a module and hence applies the penalty as you appear to have also.
IF NOT !
these numbers get bigger discrepancies with more module so applying a second complex profile dampener (lets say at 87%)
1st module 100% so reduce 50 by 12.5 2nd is 87% of that. 12.5 /100 = .125 * 87 = 10.875
we now have 50 - 12.5 - 10.87 = 26.63 sheet shows 29.35 at level 0
@ LV1 skill 50 - 12.5 - 10.87 - 1 = 25.63 sheet shows 28.76
@ L5 skill 50 - 12.5 - 10.87 - 5 = 21.63 sheet shows 26.42
Question, am I applying the stacking penalty correctly but at the wrong place or incorrectly at the right place. ? basically why are my numbers so far out on such a small number ?
I will say though, i think it's correct to wear to complex dampeners on a medium to beat proto scanners where my calls make it a something else loll.
