This isnt even a glitch just exploiting the current SP system. As I have said many times it needs to be changed and I know what could be done to change it but as long as you guys are going after us and not CCP they can continue to ignore it. Its like dogs fighting over a measly scrap of meat instead of attacking the person who refuses to give them the bucket of meat he is carrying.

I am the #1 proponent of CCP changing their SP system around so that good players get rewarded more and dont have to play as long to max out their SP. But bad players can play alot and still be able to max out their SP. Both players end up with maxed out SP just the good player got there first because they are better. Right now the different is almost insignificant.

Case in point - This morning, I jumped on before going to work. I was originally going to AFK farm while I got ready but then I saw that the match opened with only 4v4 so I felt bad and decided to actually contribute. Soooo, what happened? I went 23/7, was #1 on the team while actively capping letters trying to win the game for the team. What was the result? A LOSS because all of the special freds on my team were too afraid to come into the complex and fight. They all kept to the edges of the map where they were safe and went 1/6 or 2/4 at best. With that, I ask you champions of participation, whats the point? This is proof positive that you cannot backpack your entire team. All it leads to is frustration, boredom, and an increase in apathy. Id rather keep my furry butt in the MCC and continue to dream of the future while I eat my egg sammich.

The only way to get payed better is to do well yourself, some guy going 50-0 on my team doesn't make my paycheck any better. So what do you accomplish by carrying the team? Well let's see.. you increased their W/L ratio, which clearly no one gives a ** about, especially the AFKers... You probably saved them from a few deaths by killing those who would have killed them otherwise, but you also denied them a learning experience. CCP does not cause this to happen, CCP has created a system which allows this to happen. What causes this to happen? AFKers, AFKers who feel the need to get every little drop of SP because if the don't "Oh no, the noobs will catch up to us" Maybe it's okay doing it when you're starting out and can't contribute much, maybe it's okay doing it if your're too bored to actually play the game(not saying it is, not saying it isn't), but that's not why most "leet" AFKers do it. They do it because they feel the need to grind SP just so they can stay relevant in a videogame, which is really just downright sad. You don't need to "pull your team into a win all by yourself" you need to stop playing to give someone else a chance to be part of a team. Mercenary contracts, or "battles" are just that, contracts. Fight and get payed or don't fight and don't get payed. It should be that simple.

Yes I am gaining more SP by joining a game and going AFK then someone who is not even joining a game. This is true............how utterly rediculous of me I never thought of it that way sheesh now I will change my habits completely due to this arguement. If my team cannot make possibly win with 1 player down then they diserve to lose. I cant be bothered to carry every game I join sometimes I just want the SP and then move on.

Also it would prove to CCP that their setup has a fatal flaw and needs to be addressed.
