People don't "get good" from fighting other good players. In my experience, you pick up a controller and start playing a game with the same skill as when you are playing ten years later. Sure, you can learn tactics, but those don't improve your ability to manipulate joysticks on a gamepad, or push a mouse over a surface.

The SANDBOX appeals and it grows in TIME, its not about the early cash grab its about the long term projection. That the difference b/w people who play chess and those who play checkers. Its about seeing the big picture and the results that occur in 6 months 12 months and 24 months from now.

Dust can maintain viability on the backs of EVE subscriptions until it gets big. It may **** of EVE players as they feel thats resources that should be going to EVE. But you cant expand a business or a universe without capital and that capital often comes from within and means diverting it from other projects, but the short term reduction in funding is designed to INCREASE long term funds for the whole system, in this case EVE and Dust. But im really done trying to explain basic business modeling and marketing strategies.

You dont have to agree with it, not everyone is capable of vision.

Ive said it before CCP needs to get a move on with the FW and securities zone along with the economy(metagame stuff) that will kill this game far quicker than how player are being matched in pubstomps.

@Fraceska: Dust514 is hosted on the same servers as EVE, so there isn't exactly an "additional cost" in terms of servers between the two games. The only cost CCP incurs is development costs for new content, updates, and fixes.

I guess it was going to happen sooner or later. But now I keep running into squads of them going proto gear and it is usually a quick match. I wish that the mechanics didn't put me into matches with organized squads. It is bad enough when I run into one of them running solo like Alldin Kane or Howdithattaste. But when I run into full squads of them with proto gear I might as well quit or wear free suits. I played on the same team with them and everyone of them went 14+ and 0 deaths. It was dead pool Krptix Doug ugly and I forget the last one.
This is not hate this is just frustrating.

Yeah, a no pre-formed squad option is a must, especially since 6 man squads are coming soon.

Even when I run solo and there is 2 or 3 other decent players on my side, we dominate the heck out of the other team most of the time, and none of us are even communicating with eachother. We all do our own thing, and before you know it, steamroll. So with pre-formed squads of decent players that are communicating and trying to work as a team, it is even more devastating.

Coupled with the new ambush spawning, it is even worse now. I say let those who squad up, play against other squads of players. Matches are much more fun that way anyway.

Also they still need to work out the kinks in matchmaking regarding balancing out teams. I still see too many lopsided matches. It's either me and a bunch of name-brand players going up against a full team of newberries, or I am on the team of newberries vs all the experienced players.
