I don't think anyone here is saying that the map sucks. Players will simply adapt to the map, discover counters to their enemies, and the enemies discover counters to their counters, and so on and on.
Also, with the " if your on def your job is not to atk but to def", isn't the best defense a good offense? Why wait for your enemy to come to you? |

I think we won most matches defending yesterday. Just takes team work |

This. As the attacker you can treat this like any other fps - every man for himself - and pull of a win. As the defender a little coordination is necessary. Whenever I've managed to get people on comm working together on defense we win far more often than not, to the point of watching as the attackers sit in their spawn and get owned.
This isn't a run around shooting people all day game without any degree of coordination and expect to win (unless you are on the attack). It's meant to involve teamwork and communication. Due to the nature of the beta with random teams this is often limited. |

I continue to win frequently on both sides of the line as long as these 3 conditions are met. 1 my team is organized and communicates about the situation, without spending too much time being assholes to each other, or without b.s.ing about rl stuff too much. 2 my team is aggressive as the attacker or as the defender. 3. Me and the team I'm on are better than the opposing team at adapting to changing conditions on the battlefield, and committed to taking and/or holding primary objectives. .
Ps I will agree that this map is primarily vehicle friendly and infantry hostile. It could use some trenches, and or tunnels around a and b objectives. However there is plenty of cover around c. It is a lot less exposed than the attackers position anyway. |

QFT.
1. Organized 2. Aggressive 3. Fluid
The team that has more of these three things wins. |

I don't understand...
I always win defending and lose most of the time attacking. Is this really an issue or just a teamwork problem? |

Wins and losses seem to come in streaks. It can result in a skewed perception of whether or not the map is balanced. Part of me thinks defenders can do too well, with additional damage able to be applied via Rocket Turrets and vehicles. |

I herd a person say that "IF they take C the game is over."
I figured to throw that out there. has anyone find out if that worked 100% of the time. also are we sopused to be able to land a dropship on top of the tall builds? I feel like I'm shooting fish in a barrel when this happens and no one ever flew up to me and to kill me.

they havent STOPPED you from tower camping yet, so thusly, allowed, for now. something may get done about them, they might be left alone. some rounds you get ignored entirely, other rounds yo uhave competition for the towers and usually the slower dropship to arrive gets the advantage of seeing you first. i take dropships up and gat blast them quick and either replace them, or drop back down as assault. ive also sniped them out with militia rifles, 2 shots for most suits to die. just takes some practice to get the aim right for taking out gunners |

Chippin' in my two cents here - it is very possible for defenders to win. I've won about two-thirds of the matches I've defended on.
HOWEVER - it snowballs. If the attacking team is able to push the defenders back to the original spawn, it's next to impossible for the defenders to get back out and recapture objectives. There is very little cover between the defender spawn and the map itself, meaning a few snipers can cover the entirety of the defender's available routes. If the defenders are lucky, they'll get a vehicle through with an on-board CRU, but those usually get heavily damaged before they touch the ground if not completely destroyed. |

It goes both ways, though. Attackers can also be screwed into their default spawn corner.
Capturing C doesn't guarantee victory, either. It just makes the defending team fight on 2 fronts. |

lol 'Capture C and you win'. B effin S! All the defending team needs to do is hold 2 of the OBJs; it doesn't matter which ones, but I find that holding A & B have better defensive positions....and you are on the defense right? No need to go off your tower to chase some speedfreak in a scoutsuit... who is just leading you away so his buddies can come in and cap the OBJ. |
