Want some feedback and all so Imma be updating this and my reserved posts(5 of them). Feel free to leave additional ideas down below those, let's get a nice pooling, maybe submit it to CCP Rattati and then as a GDD( Game Design Document), which might allow us to get an allowance to then crowd-fund and they will match what we raise for Dust. 07 everyone, miss y'all I'm going to structure this answer based on how i'd like a completely new players progression to go, and then fill in the world and universe of New Eden: Login Screen Voice from the original trailers stating, "You will die." Comes online, with a screen covered in stars and planets. Massive titans drift across a massive sun. It then fades into a cutscene, which becomes montages that players can upload and vote on weekly. This would show player exploits and victories and amazing games, and would make it always different. At the end of every montage would come the quote: We are death. We are legion." LEGION, or whatever this is called, appears in massive, black letters. New Player then sees 3 options Wiki- Either a pressable link on the PS4 which allows you to view it at your leisure, and you can set the Wiki to an audio format as well so you can listen to info while you play alone( Disabled if talking in a chat, a notification would appear explaining this Login- Allows existing players to login and select their characters, of which they can choose 3 :) The Character models would be the race and dropsuit you decide, so no Scout514 if you instead have a gnarly Rattati GK.0 you want to share... New Player?/Eve or Dust 514 vet?- The one I will be picking to demonstrate. This is also what Dust Vets and Eve Capsuleers could pick to show they've played and had accounts on other games. WIll discuss Character Transfers at the end Black screen, followed by a voice. "Hello, and welcome back from the dead. We were afraid the consciousness transfer would have failed. Do not worry however, we will get you up to speed." -Gender is first decided: No bonuses to either gender are given, it is purely cosmetic. Character is fully clothed for all you Jara rapists :) -Name is selected next. For the rest of this, I will be using: 501st Headstrong. Just to make references easier. Name can be anything. You are a merc, no one will tell you how to name your callsign. -Race. Here is where I will go very indepth "Hello merc. I know this must all be strange, but for the purpose of this operation, we had to change who you were, we had to make sure they didn't recognize you. We wanted your consent however, as this could very well either allow you to blend in, or become a slave...." BAM!!!! Four Race Emblems, and a picture of their dropsuits appear. I select Minmatar first. The voice( Let's call her LAURA), gives a shorter synopsis for those who are more impatient, while hovering over a picture will make the letters: Press for Explanation appear over it, and pressing will give a massive, indepth backstory that I could never do justice because I am not an Eve Buff haha "Ah the Minmatar. This race was once, and in large part, is still enslaved by the Amarr Empire. This will relegate you to a life of extreme danger, Minmatar Captures are a massive lifestyle choice these days. Luckily, your race stems from having the faster speed, and ability to quickly recharge their dropsuits. 10% Faster Sprint speed 0% Faster Walking speed 5% Bonus to Regenerative Modules( Shield, Armor, etc) Amarr "An Amarrian disguise would suit you well. You are highly feared and respected by your foes and enemies respectively. On the bad side, you will have to conform to their strict doctrine of faith and servitude. Mess that up, and you better hope your race's bonuses to armor and stamina will aide you. 10% Greater Armor Pool 10% Greater Stamina Pool 15% Less payment for Amarr Dropsuits( Encourages loyalty) Caldari/b] "Hmm, your enemies might uncover your shady past if you get into the politics and backstabbing of the Caldari MegaConglomerate. Ruthless business men, but they keep us in business. They excel at LongRange Warfare, and are in an alliance, profitably of course, with the Amarr. They also prefer usage of shielding over Amarr like the Amarr, something about staying mobile just appeals to their playstyle." 10% Greater Shield Pool 5% Bonus to Shield Health Modules 5% Bonus to Regenerative Shield Modules [b]Gallente "Not a bad choice, the Gallente have been very helpful to helping Mercaneries disappear and start new lives. Afterall, the philosophy on freedom for all and democracy is but one of the reasons they aid the Minmatar in their fight against the Amarr. This race can't be overly overt with their aid convoys, so they employ the use of Stealth to avoid Caldari detection, as well as use Armor to weaken Amarr laser effectiveness. What you get is a good deal." 5% Greater Armor Pool 10% Bonuses to Regenerative Armor modules 3% Bonus to Speed Modules **I select Minmatar*** -"Okay, let us begin". Fade to complete black. Next, a face customizer appears. It's fairly basic, more options will be available in game. -Pause as the game loads and drops you into an NPE metropolis. Yea?, so what about when the hackers who are causing this problem move on to the next gen to mess with the system again? Then what happens? Everyone begs for a port to the next nextgen console with its flaws, Or go to a platform that CCP can activly secure and fix problems rather than letting it die on the next gen console because it's too much of a headache to mess with. I want it ported as much as the next person, I'm just looking at the whole picture, not cheerleader posting for PC only being that ps4 is X86 would mean that it would be able to run it easily after the PC port. porting to one platform would be short sighted. edit: I wanted to add i won't be buying a ps4 only because of these issues sony is having, I may get one if they fix the systems, It's just sad when people cry witchhunt when they see someone say "no sony". that person people love to hate on the other team.
