There is way too much drama in this thread right now.

I can tell you all that _every single current CPM1 member_ has been extremely active and valuable to us, whether that being planetary conquest, game balance, specific game design decisions, events, and other feedback that we asked them to give us. It can't be stressed enough that each one of the current 5 members was and is contributing to the conversation on their own and it is very appreciated by the whole development team.

And no, they never pushed for their personal agenda. They are very objective and talk to not only us but to their friends and corp mates as well before they give us their overall feedback and even sometimes spark a whole discussion regarding some specific topic that is at hand. Keep in mind that there are time zones that we need to synchronize as well, so there is always a slight delay in discussion but never complete silence. In fact, we talk 24/7.

So yeah. It is probably best for you all to simply know that we are more than happy to work with CPM1 and will continue to do so until the end of July when we will start slowly transitioning into CPM2 and hopefully have once again great people on the council. Because that's what ultimately matters. Having good guys and making the game better together.

I would disagree.

Think of Cross Atu or IWS. If I was to have removed all of their forum posting...I'd not have voted for either of them.

Their behavior on the forums was directly indicative to me of whether I found them worthy or wanting.

Appia? Completely indicative of her potential behavior in my opinion.

I'm not suggesting there can't be exceptions...my behavior on the forums was 50% shitting on people in the war room. But I also had numerous other threads where I was constructive without pulling an Appia when someone disagreed...and strived to improve when I fell short.

Forum personality =/= In person personality. Think pretty much all of us who went to Fanfest proved this considering our polar opposite attitudes toward one another in game.

Lol, IWS can have the seat. I don't need a CPM seat to do what I do. Only reason I ever even remotely considered running is because Corp/Alliance mates keep $%@#ing hounding me about it all the time.

Although I wouldn't mind taking on a few people from the forums in a 1v1 Thunderdome sort of deal. First to 10 clones?

A good record is not necessarily a sign of intimate knowledge, however a poor record is a definite sign of none. So yes, a minimum KDR threshold is a good restriction. Does anyone in their right mind honestly believe IWS is a good player? It doesn't matter how hard working he is if all of his ideas are bad. Do you honestly believe he brings anything intelligent to the table? Be serious. How can he?

It's impossible for him to do so. He doesn't understand how anything works, and thats why he can't kill anything. If he did understand, he'd be more successful at the game itself. It's as simple as that. This isn't a troll, a flame, or any kind of bait. The CPM system is fundamentally bad. Society works by cycling the most useless people to the top as regularly as possible. People are not put into their positions by skill or merit. They are put into positions by making friends and being social with the right individuals. It has nothing to do with their ability, understanding or competence of any particular field.

Aside from Zatara I would confidently say that the CPM is largely useless.

And if I was Zatara, I'd have given up working with such individuals a long time ago.

I suppose Cross gets an honorable mention for actually trying though.


Sorry for any feathers this ruffles, but the CPM are pretty much all terrible at this game and should not be in any position whatsoever to help direct where it's going.

Aeon has about a good 100-200 lbs and a half foot over me and I am no longer as fast as I used to be; he'd likely win if it was just fisticuffs.

Marksmanship on the other hand I cannot gauge his ability but I am fairly confident in my own.

and for subterfuge and less than honorable combat... I rather not talk about it makes people uncomfortable though the most difficult opponent there would be myself and convincing my motive to the point in needing to go that far in the first place.

Got damn, Saber, I'm only 250lbs... And honestly, I'm not big on fighting. Only came to blows maybe three times in my life and it was over non-sense I'd rather not even remember as being a reason for a fight.
