Within PCLAS we use things like Tiro, Miles, Classiarii, Templares, Palatinus, Legate etc. But for the in game ranks I don't think we need to. The issue I have with Amarrian names is past a certain point they sound far to garish. Things like (and this is no particular order and old as suggestions for inspirations) 1- Knight-Errant 2- Vigilant 3- Revered Champion 4- Templar Commander 5- Arch Chaplain 6- ____________ 7- High Deacon 8- Divine Captain 9- ____________ 10- Ecclessiarch "This is the Usumgal boy, the exalted dragon, wreathed in the fires of heaven. But firstly we'd never agree on the cultural root languages and specific dialects, secondly I'd suggest they'd simply not be practical in the middle of combat especially when current existing examples serve well enough already. As far as Caldari ranks, I would expect them to follow more standard ranks because the Caldari see war and soldiering for what it is. To the State it is enforcement of acceptable economics. They need no flowery titles. They're there to fight and kill to protect State assets and procure new assets for same. Modern parlance would be appropriate but I would do a mix of Japanese and American ranks for the most part. Perhaps a corporate honorific to represent one of the big seven. Let the caldari players pick which corp. Example: Ishukone Chu'I Kaalakiota Sergeant Wyrkomi State General Ishukone Dai-Gensui (I'm pretty fking sure I cannot spell these well) AV

You are not State Military...not officially anyway.....and have no jurisdiction over the Capsuleers who actually privateer for the Caldari. To try and assert you do would be met with a great deal of laughter and many insults. You also need to be in the Navy to be an Admiral......you are an infantryman. We are not a part of the official militaries of the factions we fight for anymore than Blackwater is a part of the US military. We don't gain any actual authority as we rank up. That said, the ranks should be somewhat based off of actual rank structure to let people know who is nrew and who has been fighting for awhile. Something more descriptive than Templar or Zealot. We need ranks that easily identify someone as veteran or fresh meat. Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
