So when you look at the current roadmap, if something gets bumped a patch or doesn't happen, we're going to get this whole "but CCP promised me!" thing? That's the sort of attitude that makes CCP hesitant to share their plans. Please do not make my job of getting them to communicate stuff harder by being completely and totally unreasonable.

Let us know if you have info. I'll bet that it will require Aurum to use. Calling it right here. Will bring this post back up in February when this happens. Not likely. If there are going to be fees imposed, those fees will likely be that of Eve Online's broker fees and sales taxes which take off only a small percentage of the value of the sale. It will be absolutely stupid for CCP to require AUR payment just to sell a junk item. I don't see that ever happening. You're acting like something being stupid will stop CCP from doing it.

If CCP bumps off a feature due to delays, then they should at least own up to that delay and say "sorry". But if they bump it back and pretend that nothing happened, they're going to get some angry reactions.

I can not speak for the others involved but I know the promises I see broken are specifically the "10 year road map" and "laser focused on the PS3". These are things that CCP repeated countless times and then threw them out the window in the blink of an eye. These actions permanently hurt my thinking on anything CCP has to say in the future and while it is not required in any way a simple apology and some actual explanation in to their thought process on these actions would certainly make me more likely to care about this game.
It is to a point where I have moved most of my gaming time to Eve and love it but thanks to their past actions I still refuse to pre pay for more than a month or two at a time. Having a game good enough that I would prepay for a 1 year subscription but a company that does not garner the same trust is not good by any stretch of the imagination. |

Dude, the previous EP was promising all sorts of over the top nonsense that the dev team could never pull off. CCP Rouge and Rattati had to wipe the slate clean and start over. Dust needed to have things prioritized; I hate to say it, but vehicle parity isn't exactly ultra important to getting new players in Dust. /me hears the vehicle pilot horde coming... I'm not saying having racial vehicle parity isn't cool! New players are Dust's lifeblood. Without them this game dies. We need new players to keep revenues up. So long as Dust continues living CCP can work on the stuff we want. Unfortunately for us, CCP develops as fast as old people ****. a free BPO LAV like there used to be would be awesome. especially once the racial LAVs are out. It would be nice to not be the only one at an objective waiting for the other team to slaughter me

A simple rule when interacting with CPM+CCP:
-do not trust them -they are there to rip you off -if they can make money with it they will do it -there are no promises only "false advertisement" to keep the sheeps calm
I wouldnt be surprised when CCP would say at the eve fanfest that they gonna pull the plug on dust within 1-3 months after announcing it. Just remember last years "keynote" and its apocalyptic effect it had on the community. Im sure they gonna top it this year. And i will watch it so in case if it happends just so i can say that i told ya.

(Such as the Logicloop and the Flying Scotsman.) They are destructible. I don't see why CCP would care about limiting the sales on these items. They eventually perish and have to be bought with AUR.
Being able to trade boosters and BPOs for ISK would lead to MORE AUR sales in my opinion. The people spending money now will be able to spend $ for ISK. Similar to what you see in Eve with Plex. The demand for ISK Boosters and BPOs would be high and there are plenty of people that would rather trade some AUR stuff for ISK than grind in crappy gear.
