Well, I have around 9-10M WP, but less than 100eur spent... and I am just barely rank 8. I would say comparing just those two, aur plays a bigger role than WP do, certainly... Welp I can tell you I just bought 100 USD for the 225k aur and spent about 125k of it. I was already about 4/10 through rank 10 and I went from about 257k to 211k points needed. The thing is, AUR is the one thing that we know exactly how much impact it has (1 point for each 2 AUR spent), and it doesn't add up to the apparent gap. As is evident between my rank of 8, compared to your 6, a difference of 200K points does isn't enough to fully account for that difference. The only other differences I see are wins and consecutive logins. It just so happens that I've never had any more than about 50-60 consecutive days logging in, so that's out. As for wins, my W/L is a bit higher, but I don't think my total number of battles is higher considering your WP and kill counts. Ultimately, there has to be something else here. On a related note, what's up with all the people posting ranks of 11+ and not giving any other info? Those would be the most useful ones to have.

Maybe there is a multiplier. If you meet 1 requirement...your score is X. If you meet 2 requirements it's X multiplied by y. If you do everything. ..including buy aurum you have max reward of X times y times z. Over all loyalty as opposed to specific. I am rank 11 btw. Started playing on 2nd week game came out. Very active nearly daily. High war point earner not many kills. PC every night. And guess what. I've also bought aurum. Probly over 2 years 500 bucks worth. I'm no where near lvl 12. 1/8th the way. AUR already provides the ability to have the long term benefits of more SP, more LP, respecs, more isk from salvage, and the ability to test things before they are skilled in to. IMO the ranks should require a little less points and AUR should reward about half as many points. Currently it is 1 point per 2 AUR spent. In my opinion it SHOULD be 1 point per 5 AUR spent with less points required to level up. I understand they want it to take a very very long time to reach level 15 but currently someone could stack up on a pile of boosters and buy a couple of respecs to gain significantly more advantage than what they paid for. I would just rather see the reward much more weighted towards in game activity than money spent. It may not currently be pay to win but AUR is slowly giving more and more benefits making a move in that direction. Just my .02 isk Disclaimer: with my actual stats im pretty sure this would actually push me down a level or two.

Aurum is clearly worth more than kills and WPs at this point for your loyalty rank.

A bonus to LP for doing a lot of healing, supplying, and scanning would be sweet as team players are worth rewarding. Hell, a bonus for using only Logistic suits in a match would be sweet, anyone doing it just for the LP will be forced to help others if they want to not get butchered. As for my rank, was just barely rank 1 before I bought a respec and was bumped up to halfway through rank 4. Since the bonus is about 3% more isk and won't be giving me any big sp increases in the near future I'm pretty nuetral about it.

I am much more active (loyal) than what my rank shows (I'm rank 5). I don't really care about the bonuses that it gives, CCP only found another way to *** on its community. Since then, we havn't heard of Rattati at all, except for the fact that he is a decent slaver, but not what his slaves are working on...
