According to hearsay every 2 aurum is equal to 1 loyalty point. I can believe this because duna2002 is rank 7 and Grand Master Kubo is rank 6 and they do not AUR up.

Sure, people who have been buying AUR since the update have established so. But knowing how much AUR is worth in points is just one part, I'd like to know exactly what actions CCP takes into account and how much they each are worth. I am a curious person, I like to know how things work...

Very active nearly daily. High war point earner not many kills. PC every night. And guess what. I've also bought aurum. Probly over 2 years 500 bucks worth. I'm no where near lvl 12. 1/8th the way. AUR already provides the ability to have the long term benefits of more SP, more LP, respecs, more isk from salvage, and the ability to test things before they are skilled in to. IMO the ranks should require a little less points and AUR should reward about half as many points. Currently it is 1 point per 2 AUR spent. In my opinion it SHOULD be 1 point per 5 AUR spent with less points required to level up. I understand they want it to take a very very long time to reach level 15 but currently someone could stack up on a pile of boosters and buy a couple of respecs to gain significantly more advantage than what they paid for. I would just rather see the reward much more weighted towards in game activity than money spent. It may not currently be pay to win but AUR is slowly giving more and more benefits making a move in that direction. Just my .02 isk Disclaimer: with my actual stats im pretty sure this would actually push me down a level or two.

Ur main character doesn't really matter how many things have done, I have like 114k kills that's place 45 in global and also have a lot of war points,... Badly my rank 6, I haven't bought too much aurum as many others just like 40 dollars, but also, I'm way higher in the killboard and some of the (beginning of 2012) older players, helped ccp with the data minings so they can balance weapons, suits and stuff like that. So yeah 85% aurum 15% who u really are, so if someone else haven't bought aurum and is rank 6 feel proud because u are a good player. If u have higher yeah u have paid a good amount of money. Aurum is clearly worth more than kills and WPs at this point for your loyalty rank.
