Oh and if you could put a stealthy Allotek Drop Uplink in there as well that would be neat.

I would really like to have a Sniper rifle that was silenced and didn't leave trace. I don't care if it has the lowest damage, lowest clip size, lowest range, and highest fitting cost. I just want there to be Sneaky long range rifle for me to use. (Oh and tiny dot reticule if you please!) Perhaps that could go into the Caldari FW LP Store? |

Well I certainly am happy for the infantry players, this is certainly a boon for them. Can you confirm or not whether the LP items purchased can be converted to ISK on the NPC market? You could be hopeful and assume that is the case but this is by no means a confirmation of such.

LP is going to be a complete waste of time with these ISK payouts, man. Just saying. Our squad literally tried FW for a match, lost, and switched right back to Pubs for those millions of ISK.
Then again specialty gear like the Imperial Uplink is important.
I feel you could keep FW alive by giving EVERY weapon a Specialist variant, but I think a LOT more than what the LP store currently offers is going to be mandatory or else people simply aren't going to run FW.

Please avoid mixing weapons unless there is no racial counterpart. (Forge, HMG as examples)
Also, please don't forget to add a Federation Duvolle.
There is only a Specialist Duvolle, no normal Fed Duvolle.

I really think y'all should add the missing racial items. It feels unfair to me that I can't get an amarr tank or Amarr heavy laser and have to run another race's gear. It makes FW for me a bit of a no go. |

I guess so. It's just a shame that Maddies are statistically inferior to Shield HAV other wise I would use them more often.

My thoughts on the minmatare fits:
Logi: Why on earth does he have no self healing for armor? Even a reactive plate would be enough, but no self healing is not viable. I would rather have less armor then no healing. So either give them a repping module, or switch to two active plates.
Assault CR, is a frontline weapon, the logi should be behind the heavies, so a Standard CR would be better for shooting past the heavies. Personally I would prefer a MD, but that might be to difficult for the newbs (friendly fire).
Assault: Since he is running in packs, a logi should not be far away, so give him two plates and no self healing.
The assault CR would be better here in my opinion.
Commando: I would prefer self healing here as well, since if you give him a swarm, he will often end up on high ground on his own, so healing would be better. If you switch to MD CR combo the no reps approach would be ok, since logis should be around. BTW the standard swarms just ticle the vehicles, so not really useful in my opinion, would prefer the MD CR combo in this case. And I have prof 5 on all 3...
Sentinel: Since a ferro plate doesn't cut it in HMG fights, I'd prefer a KinCat over the plate in this case. Speed Heavy all the way!
Scout: Haven't played to much in light suits, but I think the fit is decent. Though I personally would fit the ewar in the highs (passive scans) and ferros in the lows. But that's just my 0,2Ct.
I don't get why the gallente scout gets remotes and no active scanner...?

I'm grinding to get Minmatar suit(s), but I don't know which one I'm gonna take. I'm a minando/minja so I first thought I was gonna take one of those, but there are things I don't like in both.
Commando
To me all commandos should run with damage mods, especially if you want to go AV. I would have prefered the CR instead of the MD but that's ok. However why is there a regulator? That's freaking useless as that suit has one of the worst regen in the game (btw it's not logical). That basically gives you 18 extra HP for next engagement if you have the time to trigger the shield regen, but not too much time (otherwise you're fully healed anyway), I really don't get it.
Scout
Exactly the way I would fit it with proto stuff, what annoys me is the performance of the suit with only standard stuff...
Std NK are weak, std kincat doesn't change much, 2 std dampeners aren't gonna hide me from good scans.
My 19k isk STD scout seems to work better (it's the same but wtihout the kincat and one shield extender, and with adv NK,cloak and dampeners)
I kinda like the logi and the assault, I have no skill in those suits so that's an option, however having no bonus means the suit isn't gonna perform very well.
What do you think I should take then? The commando or one of the mediums? |
