I'd much prefer to state truths, when I speak it's usually based off of careful observation, deductive investigative tactics, reason, and logic. Opinions don't interest me. Facts and factors do. I don't disagree or agree with anyone. In the words of a character from one of my favorite Anime's: "I don't know everything. I only know what I know." What you think doesn't really concern me. Anyways, you should not have deleted this if you had written it before but stood up for what you believe to be true or not true much sooner. If you hate me, tell me all about how you hate me if you feel the need to do so, and then continue on with your life because it DOES has an expiration date and you shouldn't be wasting any of your time on someone you have determined to be unworthy of it. Feel free to think whatever you want, whenever you want, wherever you want, on your own time, and while you're busying yourself with all of that... I didn't have to post it and I didn't have to post it here (in the War Room). Why did I? It just so happens that the people I consider my friends and whose perspectives I like getting don't visit the Locker Room. I know who Eugene is. Never said I didn't, now did I? I was trolling. I think I can summarise your post as mainly "Why do bad things happen when I do only good things". You know as well as most, the world is not fair. I do not believe in mystic Karma, but I do believe in causal Karma. That is to say, I think a chain of events will always occur from an original act, but the proceeding residual effects do not necessarily reflect the moral aspects of the former. There's no way to 'fix' the things that happen to you BEFORE they happen. You don't know what is going to happen, and if you really do believe you are doing the 'right' thing, then you can only take one bit of advice to developing yourself. Decentralise yourself from the situation. It is a common thing I see that people get into a habit of focusing solely on what is happening to them, the things that happen to them and the things they own. This usually leads to a negative outlook because you'll start to notice all the bad things and in turn it'll just make things get worse and worse, and you'll start ignoring the good things that happen to you because you want to notice that bad things as it fits into your negative self-schema. It's essentially a self-fulfilling prophecy that does not work in your favour? How to remedy this is not a method or formula. Trying to remove your own ego a little bit only brings it in even more. Don't TRY and make sense of things that "happen" to you. You absolutely can't, and never will be able to. The universe as we know it has almost infinite variables, and seeing people running around all the time asking "WHY", "WHY", "WHY", is a great shame because they will spend their whole life either trying to figure out why, or believing they really know why and the latter can lead people to do terrible, terrible things. I don't want to take a logical positivist approach, but quite often it's best to accept things as they are. Behave like water and mould to your surroundings. Do not fight the current, but rather let yourself flow smoothly in the direction of your choosing. Look not to the past, as it is only a flittering explanation of how you are where you are, it does not tell you or show you where you are. You are right now. It is never the past, it is never the future. Stop thinking about yourself as a thing that is being 'done'. You are DOING it. Its all now and your life is in your hands.
