Now, OH played a good game but I'm curious to know if this is what CCP envisioned? Is it ok that players are invisible longer than they are visible and in a competitive match? Only popping out just to OHK you?

If this isn't evidence that the cloak needs to have the same cooldown mechanic as every other module (with a cooldown) in the game, then there is nothing else you can do.

This isn't a dig at the player that's abusing the mechanic either.....this is a dig at cloaking in dust and how crazy it is.

But dubbs, I see what you're saying but maybe you forgot how much PC lags, everything is just so much more sluggish in PC than pubs for some reason I cannot fathom it might just be a graphical issue I'm not really sure, cloaks are honestly not so much of a problem, it really isn't hard to notice if you're vigilant and Hakyou is right, precision fit hunter scouts truly solves the problem IMO

QQ Min scouts. QQ knives. QQ the fact that they could have countered me if they put on the right fit or actually kept their eyes open. Oh wait every Cal scout is a slayer scout that doesn't run precision. QQ my 400 hp and terrible regen. QQ me having to use 4 slots and an adv main weapon so I can hide from idiots.

you have to put one full ewar caldari scan scout in your squad so the rest of your squad can see them on the radar

With the stacking penalties, I don't think that you can pick up a deepened, damped and cloaked scout.

There was a point where they were looking for the guy lol and couldn't find him because he stood still between the opening on the objective. At one point, he even went behind boundaries...no way could they have spotted him back there.

Moody's running around a quarter of your nearest Heavy's HP and has a lifespan less than a half second when spotted. Being tough to see is the point; you can't possibly expect him to fight toe-to-toe.

If you read my post, you'll notice that I wrote that it wasn't a dig at you. It's a dig at how ridiculous the cloak is. You can practically be invisible for the entire match. I hate the cooldown mechanic of cloak. You just happened to be the person one taking advantage of the cloak in the video.

But since you brought it up, we can explore it. I mean, seriously you don't need a lot of health when the enemy can't see you and you essentially OHK them in the back. It isn't like you intended on having gun fights.
It also may not be fair to say that they didn't have their eyes open because you were hiding behnd the objective and popped out when they were hacking objectives and recloaked and hid again. Other times you stood still where they wouldn't have seen a shimmer. And there was a time where you hid behind the barriers on A which I didn't even know you could do :).

But I reiterate, this wasn't about you but how often one can remain cloaked for an entire game. The cooldown mechanic on the cloak is a joke.

I have been a scout for over a year. I've knifed you plenty of times before cloaks existed. I've known how to survive on the battlefield before the stupid mechanic existed. There are many many places I can go that people probably have no idea that you can go. We used to have to be invisible without the cloak. Trust me if this stupid cloak never existed I'd be pretty happy because I'd have less pathetic excuse for scouts in my role.

And you're right, I had no intention of getting in 1v1 gunfights because I don't need to. Being a scout isn't about announcing your presence and honor 1v1ing. It's about cunning, positioning, movement, and most importantly ASSASSINATION. You see me when I want you to see me.

What you see is a Min scout playing the role as intended. I really want to say quit crying and run the proper fit but people won't. They'll cry instead of running counters because they want to be slayers instead of scouts.

What I do find funny about guys protecting the cloak is that you would say that all you have to do is look and that they are easy to spot. If they're so easy to spot, you would have to be an idiot to use it. I mean, why fit something that's ineffective? Especially something that uses up so much pg/cpu.

To all the people saying run counter fits ad use precision enhancers, moody is using three proto profile damps and a proto cloak. He is unscannable with that fit.
