Nerf rails Increase reoload speed of missile turrets, heavily nerf dps those are way to ******* overpowered killing my hardened incubus in 0.50 seconds. Increase reload speed as in reduce time it takes to reload

80GJ Blasters and Railguns do need adjustments, but the Large missiles are just fine.
For the range they have to be in to actually do damage to you, it deserves the King of CQC status. If anything, I'd say it needs a buff by fixing the fall-off damage and changing reload mechanics to work like SGs.

missiles:-30% vs shields damage mod: normal damge vs sheilds.
against hardned vehicle 5% increased damage with modifer 35% increased damge.
base missile damge at std. 415 x 12.
do msisiles need a nerf?

i have gone against madruagers that have manged to surive my initl volley. and dropships can avoid my shots 90% of the time.
simply stay above the launcher or avoid it altogther. dropships are much more mobile than ground targets.

Somebody just needs to learn how to fly. ADSs are the kings of hit and run vehicles, if you're flying too lethargically (a common side effect of relying on hardeners) then just stick an M-CRU on and stay at the height ceiling. You're flying an airborne medium vehicle, not a tank, if you're still dying to rails after their nerf as much as you make it sound like then you're not adapting like a good pilot should. |

That's not how damage mods work. They multiply the base damage (so 415 * 1.2 = 539.5 * 12) and then the defenders profile takes effect when the missile hits - which is actually -20% vs shields and +20% vs armor for explosive (so 431.6 * 12 vs shields, or 647.4 * 12 vs armor without a hardener) and then the defenders armor hardener takes effect (1.2 * 0.75 = 0.9) so the damage modded missiles hit for 485.55 vs armor (539.5 * .9)
70 meters is a *very* dangerous range to be away from a missile tank, and if more than say... 8 of those missiles hit you even with your hardener on, you'd be a very, very dead dropship.
The downside to missile tanks is 10s - 7.5s reloads on their missiles after 12 shots, meaning they *need* to kill their target in 1 volley, or they're at extreme risk from counter fire. They're very well balanced compared to rails.
It sounds like you were hovering and if that was the case, you deserved what you got.

They multiply the base damage (so 415 * 1.2 = 539.5 * 12) and then the defenders profile takes effect when the missile hits - which is actually -20% vs shields and +20% vs armor for explosive (so 431.6 * 12 vs shields, or 647.4 * 12 vs armor without a hardener) and then the defenders armor hardener takes effect (1.2 * 0.75 = 0.9) so the damage modded missiles hit for 485.55 vs armor (539.5 * .9)
70 meters is a *very* dangerous range to be away from a missile tank, and if more than say... 8 of those missiles hit you even with your hardener on, you'd be a very, very dead dropship.
The downside to missile tanks is 10s - 7.5s reloads on their missiles after 12 shots, meaning they *need* to kill their target in 1 volley, or they're at extreme risk from counter fire. They're very well balanced compared to rails. [/quote] Im saying nerf direct dps and reduce reload times

Personally I've never had the patience to run slow RoF Incubuses, but I can tell you that if you're running less armor than I am shield then you're running a build similar to the Gorgons I 1-clip with my Python's XT-1s. |
