This is an FPS. All suits are in a combat role. You want scouts to be direct combatants just like Assaults and Heavies. I and Knight want scouts to be indirect combatants that cripple the enemy before they kill them. In no way does being an indirect combat specialist eliminate you from being able to take a part in combat. My gallente scout doesn't receive any combat bonuses and I do just fine in the killing department (and would continue to do so without a sidearm). Theres nothing wrong with the scout being a direct combat role, it provides a class for those of us who are skilled at FPS a good payoff. No they shouldn't, the Heavy is a combat orientated role, a Scout should never beat a Combat Role in a fair one versus one, which is why they have EWAR to tip the battle in their favour.
