They each suggested that I try to resolve the issue between myself and CCP to find some middle ground and come to a reimbursement solution that both parties (me and CCP) agree upon. 3/4 of the responses agreed that any reimbursement should be agreed upon with myself being consulted, not simply TOLD what to accept. That is my price CCP, I suggest you consider it before this goes any further. The most you will get out of this whole fiasco is being made a fool of in court when the legal stuff you clearly don't understand slaps you in the face. The fact you don't understand means you could have only fed false information by ignorance to the solicitors or lawyers you have spoken to. Trust me save yourself the embarrassment and drop it. Edit: you are also attempting blackmail, that is illegal so I'd delete the whole post if I was you. The fact that people think some magical EULA will save any argument in court is hilarious. Business is business.... The Whole DUST 514 launching on March 14th and all the players getting a full AURum reimbursements for every Aurum purchase made during beta had EXACTLY to do with Aurum and getting a class action law suit.
Even when they've benefited from other gamers standing up for their consumer rights, they still turn on their own and lick CCPs prostate like a golden gobstopper. This whole playerbase is a cancer.

I guess I'm just not going to get all that bent out of shape over a few bucks in BPOs which I'm being refunded for in AUR, which I paid for and used to buy said BPOs. At the end of the day your net loss is 0. You have all of the AUR you paid for and thus have zero legal rights to jack ****, other than the AUR they're refunding you with.
Now cut this crap out and stop acting like an idiot, you're making the alliance look bad with this idiotic crap.

It would be far more reasonable to ask for equivalent militia BPOs of those being taken from you.

Sorry brother, but you don't want to go down this route. First - how much real life money did you really spend? Second, it's not like they're taking away your aurum - you're getting it back and that is in fact what you paid for. Aurum. Not blueprints - Aurum. Now that I think about it it is interesting that CCP never let one buy the BPOs with money directly. Also, it just kind of seems like you want the Master Recruiter Dropsuit. SMH. You'll have to try harder, be more organized and less transparent if you want to effect change |

Please continue to defend this silly notion that you have any legal grounds whatsoever here. You obviously do not understand that you accepted a contract giving CCP the right to do all this.
Not to mention the fact that you are whining over something that amounts to almost nothing. You are crying like a spoiled child, and think you are going to take legal action? lol |

THIS is damn hilarious.
his whole case rests on weather or not he can prove CCP + Sony EULA is unjust and unenforcable within the country of sale.
and yet he never actually even attempts to do so, and hasnt read either EULA, or his own local laws yet.
sure he knows that in rare cases EULAs have in the past been deemed unenforcable, but doesnt understand that that doesnt automatically mean all EULAs are unenforcable. |

That's what they are taking. You paid for items that you agreed might be changed or taken without consent

LOL even better is
be bought a permanant (will not be consumed by losing it in battle) item and recieved exactly what he purchased.
and he doesnt seem to understand that said modules will no longer exsist in ISK form either....
he lacks the reading comprehension to even read the posts from CCP involving the removal of said modules.

It kills me that you idiots think CCP is going to placate your whimsical demands. First off no one forced you to spend the money, nor did they promise anything in the process. You were given the exact amount of AUR you purchased and therefore they held up that agreement. How you spend it is not their concern.
Don't like a change in game.. quit. Otherwise STFU and go QQ elsewhere. Actually, that's not true. Many of the various packs came with exclusive BPOs that only come from buying those packs, not the AUR. As far as I know, those BPOs are here to stay, but if they are ever removed then CCP will have an interesting situation on their hands.
If you bothered to read the EULA nothing is set in stone. True in ANY game.
CCP has nothing to concern with, other than a bunch of self entitled cry babies wasting their time. Which is an easy fix by banning their IP address from the server side. |

That would be like losing Paradise, won't it? I guess it's good to be CCP you can do whatever whenever. What's even better is that there is an army of ppl, some of whom are even Generals, to back it up whenever that said whatever happens.

If I was CCP I would refund the money and ban the the complaintive. Now if CCP took my BPO's I paid for, I would delete my game and never look back. I cant ask for anything more. I chose to spend my money and if they change there minds and they have I have two options. Accept the changes and keep playing or quit. This is like getting mad for I payed $60 for a game and only got $10 for trade in value. I knew the consequences and I took the risk there is no one to blame but me.

No you PAID for an item that does not consume on use. Hence the term permanent. NOT that it would never be changed. Perhaps if you bothered yourself to read the ToS and EULA on a game you would see you have NO RECOURSE!
They have the right to change things as they go, hell what about payment for my time I put into my character only to have them change it. I should sue them too. Hell if we all tried to sue them over the stuff they changed since Closed Beta we would all be too busy to play the damn game.
Grow up, Get over it, Move on. Your getting in game Aur refunded for your BPO's. What more do you want. |
