Did we finally decide that they don't deserve a planet anymore? lol. I hope so.
The Learning Coalition now does that whole 'meta 2 and below' PC thing. We only have 2 districts tho so we can only afford a few/week.

we planned to give our districts away just before we were accosted by AE.
we pulled out of PC because its an administrative nightmare for our small dedicated staff to to train people in the most laughable part of the game.
PC is a joke as it is right now. it's just an isk farm.
we at d uni are not concerned with lining our pockets, only training new mercs so that bigger corps like molon labe and OSG get quality players.
you don't need a planet to do this. as far as PC goes there are better ways to teach it without holding a planet.
and with FW getting a revamp most of our more advanced lessons will be done there.
I really don't understand why another training corp has such disdain for a like minded corp.
I chalk it up to envy and jealousy and I pitty that mentality.
but it doesn't matter the uni shall persevere even in the face of this new unfounded hate we have garnered from a few.
in closing, though I am bemused by the learning coalitions need to flame I still salute them for emulating what the uni founded and applaud there efforts to mimic us.

Don't misunderstand me - what you're doing is great. You're just not special. If you had any competent teams then maybe you could get somewhere 'training' others. But the only thing you're really doing is what anyone else could do - and does. Just because top corps don't go out of there way to do it like you guys doesn't prove or mean anything.
And nothing I said implies you guys should stop trying or die off. Corps wanting to help others are great - but do you really need PC districts to do so?

You mean to another another corp. And are you saying if you showed up you could of won? Because, if my memory serves, the first match for that district, you barely killed 30 clones before your MCC was destroyed.

What's wrong with a try hard? It means I'm giving this game my all - while you're just crying. I'm not going to hold every single persons hand. I only tried to reason with you because Vets aren't all the villains they are visioned to be. We all help in our own ways - for a long time.
It's scrubs like you who try to villainies everything that's as bad for this game as anything else. Why blame us for CCP's bad mechanics?
I just helped a squad out today showing them the ropes on how to better enjoy there playstyles - and they were thankful, saying how awesome this game is. What the **** do you do besides cry on the forums? It's because I try hard I can help people in many ways.

This whole spit-spat was started and pushed by the Learning Coalition, all because a couple of their 'leading members' have a bitter taste in their mouths when they were part of Dust University. It's not rocket science, especially with Mister O'Dell making these sort of posts.
On top of that, PC has nothing to contribute for our communities new members. Seriously... what benefit does PC have? Sure at the moment it's the only game mode that has friendly fire enabled, but once FW 2.0 comes out... PC won't really have any benefits for training corporations. The directors of D-UNI decided to pull out of PC because it was too stressful, and members inside the corporation weren't actually interested in it. |

Honestly - the only way to train is trial by fire. But there's a down-side to how Dust Uni does it - or so I would assume. Part of the training is learning cohesion with your fellow mates to better match them and work together. If you're always training with different people then the cohesion can become unstable.
Though if you run all of them enough using the same strategies I'm sure they'd pick up on the dos and don'ts. But after being in PC for half a year now - it's just my opinion that the best way to train is to get your best suit possible and join a real team and practice with them constantly.
But - again - just my opinion. I have no idea how Dust Uni actually trains people.
