I'm tired of getting killed by an AR using the laser at optimal range...

But, my SCR also can't stand some guy who just holds down the trigger and waives his sight around until he nicks me and I lose 75% of my total HP. Meanwhile, I actually charge my weapon and fire a perfect shot, only to be nicked again and killed. Lasers do not reward skill, they are on par w/ the MD; a spam weapon.

It's a Gallente weapon... I expected it to be inaccurate at that range...I was wrong.

The LR will melt anything at optimal in very short order but the AR still has good damage at the far end of medium range. I just see the weapon as close to medium range with a sharper fall off.

Laser is a very situational weapon, it's not hard to get a lot of kills and not die if you're not in the crossfire. I still have trouble believing the OP, he must have been doing something wrong even if the red had multiple damage modifiers and the proficiency in the Assault Rifle.

Idk either way whatever you use your going to go 30+ kills

I think I can help. the second ring out on your hud is 65 meters. never let anyone in there, and Omni tank your suit. you don't really need to be fast, just fast enough to keep range while you back-pedal. if anyone gets within 50 m switch to your sidearm. I've been having a lot of success with it. watch out for the scrambler rifle though...

If you're shooting a gun with 5 DMG and 1000 RoF, you should get the same boost to DPS as someone using a gun with 50 DMG and 100 ROF, right? Is there some form of rounding that screws Lasers over further?
