What are you, twelve? Don't you get that making HAVs too strong will make for an unfun game for everyone who is NOT in one? That's why prototype tanks were taken out, because HAV pilots found ways to be essentially un-killable, and that made for very frustrating gameplay for everyone else. And they still out there right now in their slightly less effective 2.5 mil tanks just butchering pubbies.

So every time someone goes on these forums and proposes some ludicrous bandaid solution like taking AV out or making it so that HAVs are the only counter to HAVs, they are not getting the big picture. Yes, it would be awesome to just steam roll over everyone in your invincible tank. But it would be a terrible game experience for everyone getting steamrolled. And eventually everyone else would stop playing because why should they deal with that bull****. And you'll be left all alone in your super tank with no-one to shoot.

So quit throwing tantrums and calling people names and just think before you post.

I never said I want infantry only ambush. Only reason I posted was because someone somehow got to the conclusion that AV free skirmish was a good idea as well.

the reason I got into tanking back last year is because im bored and tired of being a mindless ******** grunt who does nothing but point and shoot, in a tank its a whole new world.

I don't play ambush, I only play skirmish, ambush is just to unstable for vehicles to go in unless they have the entire team to help them, in skirmish at least we know what direction the AV is coming from, think before you posts next time and I might give you a little respect.

bottom line is, tanks kill infantry, AV kills tank, make a vehicle free mode, make an AV free mode.

I'd be totally fine with a vehicle only mode. I wouldn't play it, but its not like I would have less Dust for me if it existed.

i can never even get close to tanks. I spawn in my AV suit but then I die so much trying to get to the bloody thing

What are you........5??? Prototype Tanks were hardly "Unkillable"..... Only 5 Players spec'd AV between Precursor & Chromosone. Only in Uprising have I seen a steady stream (A bit excessive SPAM tbh...) of AV Specs. Damage Mods were OP Glitched & Rendering actually worked..... Ask any Pro AFGer how Tanks were in "The Bowl". You will get this as Feedback:

"Tanks??? LOL!!! AV Grenade Spam & my Hand Cannon + Blob Spawning kept them pinned behind a mountain 'till our Lazors melted Infantry. They all fell down. Lazors OP ChromoHax!!!!!"

I dont see anything wrong with this, its what many tankers seem to wish for, a game mode where they can let tanks go against tanks and no AV, and in the other corner we got foot soldiers wanting a game mode where tanks/veichles are not allowed, I think that would be a great thing to do for this game, wouldnt this be a win-win for everyone?

Create a new game mode for tanks alone and let regular Ambush be a veichle-free game mode, done.

anyone that thinks that vehicles should be nerfed even more or crippled in anyway is infantry centric, iv played this game long enough to know who is infantry centric and who is a vehicle pilot.
