I don't think it would bring happiness because what you have now is what you though would make you happy. We need the things we want to be balanced and fun. If we can get to a point where lots of people are playing and we have lots of content then this SP argument will die but until then only content will make us feel happy. Repecs are going to make some players happy for a while and some mad for a while but it doesn't address the real problem we have which is the game is boring.

The bracketing could be adjusted through the sec statuses up to whatever an suitable meta average would be for a full proto fit in 0.0 systems. Edit : I was going to say meta 2 for 0.9 but then realised at 0.0 you'd have average 10 which I'm not sure would be possible. Also Average meta level of a fitting could be displayed in the fitting screen so you know what you could use in what systems

With every reward there is risk and vice versa. Just like I suffered at the wheel of many LAV (and the worst is when your dead body is dragged around like a scene from Troy), they should suffer the consequences of making that decision to just skill up a vehicle just to play murder taxi. I think its utterly wrong. They had their fun. The respecs they are asking for is just to continue that. If you're ready to win, you should be ready to lose. It's their time to lose. It's only fair.

Once 1.5 comes the people who specced into murder taxi'sjust to kill will be SOL, that's a reason why anti-respec people don't want respec's to happen because people will spec into the FoTM but you already know if there is a FoTM its gonna get nerfed or balanced so that means that your fault if you spec into the FoTM aain after we get a respec which means CCP gave you a chance and you did stupid with it which means NOW you are stuck with it.

Giving players a place to go where stats aren't tracked and decisions don't matter then they will play there because they want a game that lets them do what they want. I think it is bad because for the time the server is up lots of players will flock there just for fun instead of playing on the real server for fun. Lots of people don't like the SP system or loosing expensive gear and a test server only gives them a place to go. If CCP send invites to select mercs then they are playing favorites and the tin foil will be folded into many hats. See here is the thing the server wouldn't be something thats put online and offline at whim. The play test server would have more down time than the regular server because it would be updated more frequently. The server itself also would have a much lower player cap like i said something in the hundreds not thousands. This way they could actually find out what weapons are broken before releasing to the GP. When i used to play on the EQ test server it was not something i played on all the time because some things were so OP that it gets tedious quickly so i would file some feedback and generally go back to playing on the regular server until they made an adjustment on the test server.

Sign me up as well. People should be able to play the game the way they want so they should be able to respect to try out every type of setup to find one that works. For those that don't want respecs, don't respect. No one is forcing you to, but don't tell those that do want respecs they can't simply because you don't want it. You got lucky and found a load out that works for you, well everyone should be able to do that no matter how long it takes them and they should be able to reallocate SP when they waste it in useless skills that CCP designed.

Missing racial variants and core changes definitely should have some sort of respec. Beyond that there should be no other repecs, it may not seem unfair, but it is even less fair to have respecs when new players still have to grind to get to anything. You want to try something new? Wait like everyone else, if you're afraid your previous skill will become useless, invest in core upgrades.

And I would spec out of caldari advanced logi (not proto so don't rage) prototype nanos and uplinks can't fit without taking away complex shields. And you know how sucky the shields are on it now so I need the 3 complex to even survive standard guns when running away.

At least a respec after the variants of racial suits are out along with the main vehicles. I'd say not rspecs after they actually start marketing and putting it out there.
