I really don't know. I mean, heavy spam is already a great threat, in 1.8 would be even worse and only cloak could actually counter heavies. But 3 Gal heavies + 1 Gal Logi with Pro scanner + 2 tanks could be an easy win. I fear they're intentional...

Yeah, it's the same for me, always loved the LR, and have (unfortunately) skilled it even in 1.0. There are a few things to consider anyway: they're going to buff the damage a bit, and it's ok. They're going to rise maximum heat. And that's ok too...
