Bear in mind that it doesn't take much for new players to get kicked out of the Academy. Saying your blueberries suck when they're probably brand freaking new to the game doesn't help them get any better. Offer to guide them in DUST rather than giving them a hard time.

Considering how powerful AI turrets are when they finally decide to target tanks and people...
Yeah, even AI won't be as bad.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

First there is a psychological effect when you can run the best gear without worrying about resources (ever), you generally play better under these conditions because you aren't stress about a death, so you die less as a consequence because your head is in the game.
Couple this with item tiers, corp resources (knowledge/experience/isk), and 40 mill sp vs 15 mill sp characters, and there is plenty of room for performance differences, this isn't even considering the broken game mechanics CCP introduces and the exploitation culture we have. There are a lot of structural factors in the game that go way beyond just player skill.

this game just needs a single player mode.
add ingame lore
a place for noobs to practice and not be stomped
a place where you can test out alll the weapons before you skill into them.
maybe add a co-op campaign so people can still play together but without facing 10 tanks but instead bots who wont abuse mechanics in such a way.
