In my experience a lot of the passive skills you train up for vehicles crossover's to your suit's and vice versa. I've been speccing into DS for 2 weeks now and already have myrons and access to advanced turrets, and my logi hasn't really suffered...

Definite yes on the radar idea, and yes to the second idea cause it could lead to stealth squishing. And I would definitely like to see some way of dealing with swarms, like flares or ECM, you could set it as a module for dropships. Its ridiculous...

Given the speed an APC is likely to go at, i could take off, drop off a squad at the furthest objective and be halfway back before an APC get's to the closest objective (on the current maps at least). So until we get bigger maps with more players ...

This sounds like a overcharged MD, but it could quickly become op, you might want to set a minimum range for the shells as well to compensate for the high AOE and so it would behave more like actual artillery.

Yeah but you can only fit so many people in a dropship and you could limit the amount of times you get points for 1 person spawning, and any ways there's nothing to stop said abuse from going on with current drop uplinks.

Why would getting points for CRU spawns be bad? They function in the exact same way drop uplinks do and you get points when your team spawns on them so why deny it to DS. And i definitely agree with you about the AV warning

There dropships not gunships, those are coming later(hoprfully) but we need most of what you said anyway. PROTIP: if you hang back out of range and don't take any risks unless you have to dropships can easily last the match
