They'll be more useful once hit detection is fixed. Like just about everything... buffing the HP would be crazy. But we haven't seen anyone using dedicated team builds I.e no armour repairs because your team will fix you up. LoL teamwork.

Get type2 heavy with a forge gun a adv/Proto SMG. Great fun. Very cheap. Moves faster than the other heavy suits. Forgeguns are the only weapon on this game which require practise. But they are bloody marvellous. They might change the ISK cost/rew...
