Great idea. Ladder seasons in Diablo 2 were epic. Certain items only available to those on the ladder, and after the season = TRADING TIME :D I suggested it somewhere so it's good to see a thread about it. It could also be used as a testing ground.

Would it be possible/feasible for groups with no EvE support make petition/ticket to CCP to create their alliance for them? If so setting up a "template" for CEOs to fill out would be a good idea, just as a temporary fix.
