If I can't afford to play this game in proto gear at all times once I get the sp I need to go Porto. I wont play it, I will not go back to the lower teir suits/gear once I reach the good ****. So hopfully I get some good backup funds if not it will suck, anyone except for a few leet will need backup to be proto unless we get more isk per game.
For you peeps not in a corp good luck I got 100 protos and my isk has been going DOWN DOwn down trying to keep it at 100 at all times.
So if you feel the same as me no proto no play |

Try killing protos in a milita fit, you'd be suprized how well you can maintain your kill rates |

Sounds like QQing to me. 
Just because, you speced upto that level does not mean anything. If you cannot afford it that is on you. Find a way to fund your needs. Simple as that. Personally I doubt we'll see many people reach "proto" tech level anything in the first year after release. Minus only those whom do nothing, but play the game all day, every day with little nothing else except playing Dust514. You better just get used to playing with miltia and standard tech leveled gear for a while.
That is harsh reality for the majority. |

Well if it take a year to get Porto it will prob take me two cuz I'm old and don't get to play alot. So I'll get used to it but once I get there I don't want to go back. |

Get type2 heavy with a forge gun a adv/Proto SMG. Great fun. Very cheap. Moves faster than the other heavy suits. Forgeguns are the only weapon on this game which require practise. But they are bloody marvellous. They might change the ISK cost/reward anyway.
Or just use advanced gear. It seems to earn me about 200-300% profit. EU servers are easy mode by the sound of things. |

I'm doing fat suit next build, feel like fukin up some tanks. Done assault and logistics time for the fatty **** the scout tho I tried it for a min when I did assault not for sniper tho **** snipers I got wrecked in that paper suit. Time for some av **** ftw |

Nope, I'll be bored with it if everyone is just running around in full proto every game. One of the most interesting aspects is the idea of profit/loss being an important metric. If that goes out the window I'll be much less interested in the game. |

I havent got out of proto gear yet so guess they need to do some balancing on the isk rewards. |

Well GN (Gangsta Nachos), it'll probably take me about the same too. I'll probably determine how long it will take once the game releases. Personally I feel they need to give a hike in skill point costs for "some" skills, and tweek the multiplier for others. I'll keep my opinions for now to myself in question to what I feel does need to looking into. So as to avoid arguments, and needless debates.

Well, if proto gear doesn't help you earn more, then it's not the gear that needs improving, but rather some other skill or tactic.
The right skill and tactics should do well even in lesser gear. |
