The maps are too open and combat is rarely focused. One thing that made MAG battles so entertaining were the battle lines. Players were always fighting over one or two areas on the map. This made it so there was always action with a minimal amount...

Yea, you aren't supposed to able to run top tier ISK classes all the time. That's the whole point of DUST. Top tier ISK classes are for corp battles, not pubs. Most of the best players in DUST will run militia fits when they are grinding in pubs...
