The title says it all. I am NEVER going to use my Logistics Dropships as I don't want to use the skill points to get there. I have 25 of them in total. Which equals 10mil isk right there. After going through all my assets and deciding on what I would sell (you must understand I was very bored to do this), I figured out that if I sold all the things I wanted to, I would have 20,453,600 ISK. Now there are people who would have much more than that, and there are people who would say that doesn't last them long because they use tanks. For the though, 20mil ISK would be really nice as all I need are my dropsuits, shield extenders, Assault Rifles, and Grenades. On the flip side of this, with everything being so dirt cheep in dust compared to EVE, 20mil ISK would be quite overpowered, so I understand why we cant sell stuff right now, but I hate having to buy only ten dropsuits at a time because I'm kinda poor. |

I think he was directing that at you, though I fail to understand why. Yes CCP employs an economist to monitor Eve's economy, but would you know this if you weren't a serious Eve player? I know many casual Eve players that don't know this...

i think he was meaning to say, how do you people who play this dust beta not know what is coming? Soon, of course we will have the ability to sell and trade items. i'd give mine away for free to corp mates who could use them :) |

This is not EVE....This is DUST.....however it may be part of the EVE universe, a spin-off of EVE, this is not EVE...why should everything be similar to EVE....this is shooter its a different type of game...you EVE guys need to chill out with all the SP whining because DUST gains SP faster than in EVE
This isn't aimed towards any individual person, so dont think im trolling you mango, im just saying. Some of the EVE guys come over to DUST thinking they have seniority over the ones that haven't played EVE. Its not the same...get over it.

It pretty much is the the same. sure we have tanks and we shoot people in the face. but the mechanisms behind this game and the greater part of the universe are known better by eve players. And technically eve players do have seniority because they have said understanding of the bigger picture of dust. They know the developer in more intimate ways and even have relations with them. And I speak for myself here but the general consensus of eve players playing dust is, they don't want dust to fail. If dust kicked the bucket then the game they really love might be in some trouble. So they have taken a responsibility mindset to help CCP through this process along side the non-eve players so everyone can have a general understanding of new eden.
And honestly its working the huge culture clash that happened during the eve invasion is turning into assimilation. Dust beta corps have eve players in them and these corps are starting to understand the devs and the game a little better. |

Selling soon, I know its planned but it would be so great soon, not SOON tm.
The corps and economy have been said to be linked to Eve. So, it has to mach or Eve needs to change to match it. It seems more likely the former.
EvE players thinking they have seniority in dust is silly, a corp Eve corp that lets dust players join sure. We don't have that yet. EvE players could give some good advice on fittings and skill plans to fps players, but the fps players are probably going to do better on field. Especially if the use EvE guy's tips, they can better use the same fits.
EvE play's can better guess were game is heading and background continuity, fps players can better suggest fixes to core "gun game" and weapon balance. We need both, but game is more in need of feedback on the shooter part. CCP should have no problem with the EvE side, but it's their first shooter. |

I would really like a sell feature in the beta, not needing an entire economy just a sell for half or even 1/3 of current market value, just to sell wat i dont need. |

while I get your point, and it was well made, you assume that all FPS players want the same thing and that many of us EVE players are not FPS players. Frankly COD can suck my nuts, not a bad game, but Im tired of every thing needing to be COD. CoD cloning Killed battlefield and would kill Dust.
I welcome all gaming back rounds to this game but please this is not and should not be a COD clone. |
