Have noted this as well. Has been a excellent way for non AV players to destroy installations for Mordu's challenge. With that said it doesn't seem to be working as intended.

This is indeed a bug and is not shots directly hitting the driver. You can use any 'Blaster" equipped unit to shoot the LAV itself and they will pass through the structure of the LAV and hit the driver. Balance issues with LAV's are a separate BA...

It is a sad fact, but one thing to also remember to remain profitable is that winning and losing has no effect on earnings in public matches. ItGÇÖs all about ISK damage dealt and WP. This impacts you in two different ways as far as profitability...
