I say, port it to the Quake 1 engine. At least we will have consistent 30 fps then. And the game will not look worse in that engine. And strafe jumping to make all these controller scrubs cry even more about kb/m being overpowered.

No. Nerf regular armor plate HP. Complex Armor Plates are too good on scouts right now, they are also too good on other suits. Shield extenders, Ferroscale plates and Reactive plates are balanced, and dont need a stacking penalty.
