Assaults need a bonus to reduced fitting cost of tanking mods as well. Shield extender/recharger/regulator fitting cost reduction for minmatar and caldari. Armor plate/repper fitting cost reduction for amarr and gallente.

I think it should be like in EVE, your signature should increase with shield extenders and other power emitting modules. That would mean the base assault/scout scan profile should be lowered to make a fully shield tanked assault/scout have similar...

Reg, do you have a gal scout? If so, you should try 4 complex ferroscale plates and two complex extenders on it. Higher HP than caldari, same strafe speed. Better dampening.
