I think it's all about how fast you're going when you first hit them. I've been pushed a really long ways by an enemy LAV before. I just ended up being pushed to the side instead of being run over. That by itself disproves the claim that LAVs OHK...

It takes away any need for specialization. If the regular AR can't fill an anti-infantry role, the tactical AR can. Seriously, one battle, my laser was being out-ranged by a few ARs.
