So curious. Will it be scout only? I hope so. Passive or active? Can we sprint while cloaked? How will we look to the enemy? I hope it's not too obvious that there is a cloaked person in front of you. |

In testin/devp it was to OP so they are workin on it.
And by the time it gets relased its goin to be totally OP.
So with those thoughts they might never relase it, or put it on the soon(tm) list for eternity.

Crysis 3 has cloaking. You're health is cut in half while you are in cloak.
I think it should also cut your damage capability in half as well.
Stealth is the most powerful ability in FPS, always has been |

why would it be op? care to share your thoughts?
Cutting health in half sounds bad, decreasing damage too.
I would like to see (omg I did it) some comments from the devs. or thoughst on how it can work. Imagine if it were for scouts only, non-scout users...how would the cloaking seem fair to you? |

I'd think GR FS style would work, cloaked once motionless. Dust 514 is set in the future with very little advanced technology, so close to what can be done IRL atm |

To be honest I don't think my mental state could handle a cloaking device! The sensor box at the top of the screen rarely blinks with red dots. To have a cloak input into the game would probably make me rage like a lunatic!! |

If used as an equipment item, like the scanner, there will at least be a limit to its offensive capibilities.
If it were to deactivate your shields while active too, it would certainly be a bigger advantage for scout use, and a much needed buff to armour users. |

I'm curious about this as well, as I plan to spec heavily into it and use it to harvest tears, the true endgame of Dust. |

why not base it loosely around eves cloaking modules?
passive one lets you be invisible after being still for a while except when hacking/ attacking
active ones let you be invisible doing everything but hacking and attacking |
