Yep, so long as you're not terminated. Another secret? You can trigger them while hacking (and it doesn't cancel the hack) assuming you switch to them before you hack ;) It might also work while climbing ladders; haven't confirmed it yet.

Next time just hide in a spot where they can't get LOS on you but you still have LOS on the hack terminal. So if someone goes to hack, you can kill them, but their snipers can't get you.
