Starter fits + REs are a good way to curb protostompers. I prefer my BPO scout with E-WAR mods, but starter fits and REs will work too. Use yourself as bait (since they will no doubt scan you) then blow them up as they try to take you out.

Only the Lvl 3 and above nanohives are having their nanite capacity reduced by 1/3rd. The militia, standard, and compact hives still have their original capacities. So when dropped by a Cal Logi, those would actually be better than they are in 1.7.

Not getting scanned is worth the sacrifice in HP, so long as you take advantage of being unscanned and play as a stealth suit. This means you should never engage a target who knows you are there unless you are very confident you can take them down...
