You're not "paying attention", like an earlier poster says.
if you're paying attention to what they're doing, rather than just the tip of your own weapon, then you can SEE them throwing down a remote. Which means you have time to get out of the blast radius.
if you dont, but instead choose to keep on firing your weapon, then it's your own fault.
btw, for the record, I do it in low hp suits (scout, zero armor+shield modules), so I dont get why you complain about them doing it in high hp suits. The end result is the same |

I agree that the post death explosion needs fixed ( not that I am not having fun with it ), but Nerf them? No.

and ya know what? it happens. There are multiple types of situation in DUST where death is unavoidable. Also, contact grenades exist (Fused grenades). So... you dont really have grounds for complaint. Particularly since if they use it up close like that.... THEY have to get away too. They cant just drop it and blow it immediately, if they want to live. the blast will kill the detonator, just like a grenade can.
Also.. the "detonate on death" thing? there's usually a lag of somewhere between .5 to 1.0 seconds, before the detonation can happen. So let's recap:
Approximately 1 second of throw time, plus 2 second 'arm' time, and around 1 second deathswitch delay time.
4 seconds is a long time in DUST. You have no excuse for not getting out of the way, other than "I didnt see it coming". It only takes 1 second to sprint out of the 5m blast radius.
What are you going to complain about next? people headshotting you from behind?

Kill them then. No half measures. If they can be revived they can detonate, kill someone dead and they can't. The detonation process on an RE is not as quick as you seem to think, they are not as quick as contact grenades, as has already been stated.

This... Makes no sense. If he throws it too far, you get up in his face and make him blow himself up if he wants to blow you up. No matter how much EHP you have, unless you're 1.8 Sentinel with resistance to splash damage, it will kill them. Also, every time you throw a remote, there's about a 2 second delay before you're able to detonate, switch weapons, or place another. That's without bearing in mind that the remote needs to 'settle' on the ground before it becomes active, like a nanohive.
I'm sorry, but if someone's managing to stomp with RE's, kudos to them. You only get 4 at proto (I believe?) and I always use them to cover my getaway when being chased. The fact they can stomp with them is amazing.

I should try it. So what if they get 4? Does mean they get a iwin button, and it doesnt tqke much time to detonate after a throw or sver were exploiting two times per death

Another possibility is that you see him throw his SECOND remote. but you didnt see him throw the one that actually killed you.
I do that a lot. It's tough to RE a target that's moving around. So i try to sandwich them between two remotes before detonation.
