By taking away strafing speed CCP actually went back on the idea that a good player should be able to out do those with better gear. Now it is about who has the better gear. At least last build a guy in a cheap suit had a chance if he moved well....

Part of the problem is the Tactical rifle. It isn't single fire anymore, and acts like a super accurate auto rifle. The rest of the problem is the bloody strafe nerf that feels like a rod up the spine of the merc.

I believe DUST will make a great addition to EVE of course. I just think that the EVE players and communities are large killing machines, while many DUST mercs are a new baby that CCP is proud of. I love that she is trolling the lion with her baby...
