Gallente commandos are fun and sort of FotM-y right now. Fit a BAR and a plasma cannon for anti-infantry and AV. 4HP/sec innate armor repair is convenient. Bonus: you look like a ninja turtle.

Amarr and Minmatar assaults have decent bonuses. The Amarr can fit a reasonably durable tank, the Minmatar can strafe dodge a la scouts. The ScR on the Amarr assault is nice, but with a 20% penalty to armor it lacks stopping power. ACR + Minmata...

Unless you just love the sweet, wintery embrace of death itself: scout or HMG sentinel. Current FotM seems to be Amarr or Gallente sentinels. Gallente and Caldari scouts remain very popular.

Them not being on that list doesn't necessarily mean they are underpowered. It could mean the other weapons are simply overperforming so well there isn't a reason a competitive player would use another weapon.
