I am still in the camp of wanting the Assault Role bonus being the current Gallente Assault Bonus, but, more encompassing, ie, 5% CPU/PG reduction per level to light weapons. Better weapons on suits=more killing power. Plus, it mirrors the Logi.

CCP is aware of the issue and are working on a solution, as is stated in feedback/requests or bugs.. Its on a list somewhere. I assume they use a giant cork board and throw darts to determine the order things are fixed/added.
