Put in a ticket. Logibro, I believe, stated somewhere in the dark recesses of the forums that this was an issue on Sony's end. Just place the ticket and they'll work their magic. Note, I'm pretty sure CCP actually screwed up, they do that a lot.

The Amarr are gaining a Light Assault suit come 1.8, so, I'm doubting that many people will change. Caldari, however, are gaining a Heavy Suit and Scout. The Heavy being the master forgegunner will more than likely sway some people to Caldari FW.

I will say this, with MinLogi 5, Hacking 5, and 4 Complex Codebreakers, you can hack an objective in about a second. If someone starts the hack before you, even if its only one bar, you will more than likely not get any points for the hack.
