It would be much better to reward people for staying than punishing them for leaving battle in a game that doesnt even work properly. It is actually the developers jobs to make this game fun, not the community. Too be fair ive havent played dust...

Seeing it from a realistic and logical perspective, if an infantry man is stupid enough to be close to an enemy tank, he would probably get his stupid ass run over as an entertaining way to conserve ammo for the tank crew.

People can blame protostompers and bad matchmaking for the lack of new or dwindling playerbase, but the fact is that the game isnt fun and people dont wanna play it. I dont think any hotfix, patch or content can change much about that.

There is not much point or fun in choosing the heavy class when every light weapon outranges and perform overall better. I wouldnt mind if HMGs had same dps as rifles as long as it functioned as a machine gun, with better range and ammo capacity...
