I think its is so it feels more realistic, like for example if you both went zero clones at around the same time but team A kills all of team b's remaining clones on the field then they would win even if Team A ran out of clones first

I check to see how much damage the guy did to me, Like if he did 900 damage I'm a scout with about 300 Hp total he has been hitting me a lot but my shields come back before he finishes me off and later he kills me. I also look at kills and deaths...
