Yes there is. There may be a requirement also, for Weapon Usage. Once you have that, get Sniper Rifle Operation to 5 first, which unlocks the best Snipers, and access to Sniper Proficiency. After those, go for Light Weapon skills.

I would use it if it were hidden near an objective. For example, we capture A. A few minutes later, the enemy captures it. We can instantly get behind them and dominate.

I use a PS Bluetooth, got it for $20, you can probably find it for $10 now, it works great, has a mute option and is pretty comfortable. Battery is kind of low, about 4-5 hrs, then needs charging.

Then again, this is the future. Technology has evolved from being strips of specialized cloth to full out air pressured inertia dampeners. Yes, it is unreal, but I think this comes pretty low on a "list of things to fix before release".
