Dear fellow Dustbunnies,
I have recently been enjoying a militia assault loadout with all the typical trimmings, but instead of a nanohive or cramming a drop uplink into the equipment, I have equipped a Nanite Injector.
The Injector has very low fitting requirements and I find that I hardly ever had use of other equipment as an assault player anyway.
Because of my positive experience using this loadout, I think it should be considered the gold standard for assault fits. With the injector you can perform your assault role, clear out enemies and then as the battle allows you can revive your teammates. Logistics aren't the only suit that can revive!
If you don't equip a nanite you are missing out on great opportunities for war points (which translates to ISK/SP). It still blows my mind when I fall down, I can see 5-8 friendlies within range of me, but no "nearby triage unit" notification. Give it a try, guys!
PS: In assault mode maps if you bleed out, you are the reason we lost. |

I like that idea too, a fast-moving medic with close-range weapon to clear people away from the bodies. Very nice tactic. Do you use the speed boosting low module? |

I always let the bleedout timer go and hit square over and over whenever anyone friendly is around and I almost never get revived. I think of my last 100 deaths with friendlies around 60+ ended with me bleeding out while repeatedly hitting square, with the message on my screen telling me someone was nearby that could revive me. Probably only 1 or 2 ended with me getting revived, and the rest were when there were still hostiles around when I bled out.
Anyway, my point is that the quoted statement should be worded more like: In assault mode maps if you have a nanite injector and don't revive people, you are the reason we lost. |

if it wasnt so buggy maybe more would use it. as it is it gets you killed while walking in circles trying to get the thing to work. plus, 25% pick up while surrounded by red dots, no thanks. |

Previous two posters cited examples of their teammates playing like noobs. The point I'm trying to make is that people need to STOP playing like noobs. One of the best ways to do this is through proper use of bleed out timer and nanite injectors. Obviously you clear an area out before you res your buddy. Obviously you bleed out if the triage near you isn't making progress toward actually reviving you. But people who just instantly bleed out are losing the match for us when they could wait 20 seconds for a quick clear and revive. If your team is winning the engagement, stay on the floor! |

Been running a scout / smg / injector fit all week. The kinetic whatsitcalled in a low slot is very handy for arriving on time to make the rez.
The spot you need to hit with the injector is not always the body, but where the body fell. Take a look at the ground, if you are attempting to rez a guy at the bottom of a small hill, start hitting the button and poke around the hill, as he probably slid a bit. There are arrows as well that will attempt to guide you to the spot you need to hit.
I have lost count of the times when I have just arrived and the bodies vaporize, long before the bleedout timer would have ended.
Anyone carrying injectors gets an icon for your location when you go down, So I would recommend anyone in squad leadership carry them as they provide good situational awareness. Also can pay out decent sp if you make a few rezzes in a match. |

I just wish more people would do this, I also try to fit a remote armour repair to my militia fits, find a lot of people don't know what the strange blue guy firing the funny orange stuff at this is doing though. Works very well if someone else has the injector, they rev them to 30%. I get them back up to 100%. Can take a while with a heavy though...

I've been on both sides of this: bodies vaporizing just before I get there with my injectors, and waiting through the full bleed-out timer with "logi in the area" notification before expiring.
What would really help with scratch-teams is a way for a logi to acknowledge a request for a revive. For properly co-ordinated teams its not an issue, obviously.

My suggestion to CCP would be to give a special icon to "triage" on the mini map while you are down, so you can see if they are even attempting to get to your body, or if its just some nub who spawned in a logi suit and has no clue but is in the general vicinity |

Yea, that's what I was initially running, I don't know, it just didn't feel right. I used a Nanite Injector and a remote Rep, it just felt like I was dieing a lot trying to revive and heal, since you've got paper armor. I mean it works, it worked fine for me, I just didn't care for it really. I keep an injector on my militia fit because it fits, though normally I run with a drop uplink and a remote repairer when I can actually afford to field a non militia fit >_< |

Since the injector needs a promp, it shouldn't require changing weapon to equip it. If one is on fit and you are in right spot, prompt to hit interact button to revive. Killzone 3 did it this way, Mag as well I think(didn't play it much). If it was next to body rather then spot killed would help too, bodies can slide a long way. |

I think the body location thing is a bug but I love your suggestion about the interact button. |

I have a nano injector on every loadout except my heavy because he cant carry it. I recommend everyone do the same, but soooo many dont. You can't help your team if you don't have the tools on the field. |

For people who have had trouble with the nanite injector it would seem that the "revive box" remains where the player died instead of following the collapsed body. Ignore the body and follow the revive waypoint and you should be successful |

I bet if they removed K/D from the scoreboard and replaced it with war points, you'd see more people reviving.
It seems to be all people care about after all: where they are in relation to the top of the scoreboard.
Personally, I play logistics and bring a repair tool and nanite injector because I enjoy helping my teammates. I often get a 0 for my kills, and I don't care. |

I love this idea of 'press O to Revive'. Would make my job easier. No more switching to repairtool when trying to revive. |
