Could also have something to do with the high latency/low frame rate in FW/pubs now. But trust me it's not only you. I've been feeling a lot slower in my minmatar suits too, even my shotgun suit with sprint mod/dampener/regulator is sluggish.

If you use armor plates the penalty is now correct. In 1.6 if you used more than one plate the movement penalty would work like a reverse stacking penaltiy. Each movement penalty would be reduced the more plates you had. In other words the effect...

Run up to tank with militia railgun tank, take a few shots, right before you blow up jump out and shoot him with your forge gun. They never expect it. Or you can be that one person everyone hates and ram them with your suicide LAV.

Rail Rifles do the same amount of damage no matter how close to the opponent you are. I mean, shouldn't they work more like the laser rifle in that they should build up damage the closer they are to their optimal? Or am I wrong?
