Minmatar Faction Warfare: Let's get organized.

Chosen Matari is a good FW Channel, but I think it's time we really got organized. See this? THIS is organization. Hat's off to you Aero. That's an excellent group you have made. HOWEVER. I have a feeling that the Minmatar can do JUST AS WELL. I want to make a list of the people who are going to make Minmatar FW their main Loyalty. I want to see how many Capsuleers we have to support us, and to create a FW channel that quickly creates groups, gets into battles with solid strategies, and routinely wins their fights (or at least puts up an excellent struggle). I am posting this, because while the FW channel is great, several people (including me when I first walked in) have trouble finding a decent squad, or even a team that knows what they are doing. We need to have a sense of purpose, and a sense of camaraderie. Here is an excerpt from EVElopedia. It pertains to the History and mentality of the Minmatar. For the Minmatar, the most important thing in life is to be able to take care of yourself on your own, and although kin and family play an important role in their society, they prefer identifying themselves by the clan or tribe to which they belong. A clan can have any number of people in it, and its size is largely dictated by the main activity of its members. Most specialize in one area of activity. In the distant past the clans constantly warred against each other. Since then, however, Minmatar have learned that cooperation is more important, and although the clans still try to maintain their regional and ideological identities, they act as a single unit towards other races. We may be from different Corps, but we should be united in our stand against the other races. It should be like a second family to you, a group that you can always turn to to back you up. If you are interested in helping me with this please comment here or mail me. I am not trying to create this group with me at the helm, I want to get the ball rolling. All the rewards are for the most part useless: to pilots, to heavies and to people who use non-minnie suits because, let's be honest, minmatar weapons and suits are underpowered compared to other weapons/suits, save the CR and SMG. Host of Zilla's Games! The best defense in not a good offense, it's a good defense.

Hopefully once a lot of the bluedots realize that there is no ISK in FW and that they are better off in public contracts, we can have some nice battles between two well organized factions. Amarr has EXCELLENT players. That is the main reason why I want some organization. We might be winning by numbers now, but once the majority of the new FW people move on, we could have a tough time dealing with an organized FW team. I also wanna help turn FW into "PC-Light" and create some awesome fights over territory. Having a sense of pride and community makes the game all the sweeter, and can probably even help make for some exciting battles. "All war is deception." We all know that's not how Dust is meant to be played and quite frankly it is no fun. Understandibly, PC is driven by the greed so of course players will do whatever crummy tactics it takes to win. I'd like to think FW players (like true FW players, not PC players who are trying the new thing) are better than that and will fight more respectfully. PC-Light by definition to me is where there is tactics and strategy, but not to point of gamebreaking or dishonorable tactics. YES, we want to WIN. But, we are not going to resort to the measures we observe in PC, such as Forge-camping and Equipment spam. Think of it like this: I want some fun battles where two groups try and kill each other and have a blast doing it. Not like how it is in PC where every grows to hate it and their opponents. I'm thinking of maybe a Terms of Engagement thread? Granted, there is no way to police it, but unspoken rules would be nice. It's the thought that counts right?
