Okay. So we have a few chat channels and a few EVE pilots to drop orbies.

Chosen Matari is a good FW Channel, but I think it's time we really got organized.

See this? THIS is organization. Hat's off to you Aero. That's an excellent group you have made.

HOWEVER. I have a feeling that the Minmatar can do JUST AS WELL.

I want to make a list of the people who are going to make Minmatar FW their main Loyalty. I want to see how many Capsuleers we have to support us, and to create a FW channel that quickly creates groups, gets into battles with solid strategies, and routinely wins their fights (or at least puts up an excellent struggle).

I am posting this, because while the FW channel is great, several people (including me when I first walked in) have trouble finding a decent squad, or even a team that knows what they are doing. We need to have a sense of purpose, and a sense of camaraderie.

Here is an excerpt from EVElopedia. It pertains to the History and mentality of the Minmatar.

For the Minmatar, the most important thing in life is to be able to take care of yourself on your own, and although kin and family play an important role in their society, they prefer identifying themselves by the clan or tribe to which they belong. A clan can have any number of people in it, and its size is largely dictated by the main activity of its members. Most specialize in one area of activity.

In the distant past the clans constantly warred against each other. Since then, however, Minmatar have learned that cooperation is more important, and although the clans still try to maintain their regional and ideological identities, they act as a single unit towards other races.

We may be from different Corps, but we should be united in our stand against the other races. It should be like a second family to you, a group that you can always turn to to back you up.

Also, this is great. I love the response this is getting.

I will be on frequently due to the fact that all my finals are finished after today.

I would like to get as many people in the chat channel as possible (once it's made) and then talk over things and set some positions (like recruiter's, strategists, organizers, EVE-Side collaborators, etc).

As I said, I am not the most experienced when it comes to something of this scale. But with enough people and the right mindset, I see no reason at all why we can't make this work

Let's work together and make this happen. I'm thinking of maybe a Terms of Engagement thread?

Granted, there is no way to police it, but unspoken rules would be nice. It's the thought that counts right? And if the people in the groups all agree with the tactics and the idea of sportsmanship, then there is no reason why it shouldn't work.

we already have a secure channel for min fw created just 2 days ago. the more chats you have open, the more LAG you experience. no need for another. chosen matari was created by eve pilots for eve pilots to drop ob's. if we want their support, i think we need to use their channel.

ps dont broadcast your new channel all over the forums. it opens you up to unwanted attacks in space
