Other than material values, prices for gear will be fluctuating once the player market goes live, so this won't really be practical long-term. Unless, as mentioned, it's based on material costs rather than post-production values.

I think the major problem is the price - it costs WAY more to use UVTs than to use ANY PC-based voice comms. There are free options (Skype, Yahoo) with limitations, and practically unlimited options with MUCH lower prices than what CCP are current...

Cool ideas, +1 tot he first 2 posts in this thread. Not sure how viable curves would be with the sixaxis controller, but it's still an awesome suggestion, and you could draw straight lines just by marking start and end points easily enough.
