Why not just have an AUR item that gives you a respec, but you have to give up 1/3 of your lifetime SP. That way it can't be abused by speccing into the FotM every new patch and people will have to really decide if 1/3 of their SP is worth it.

If they're in your squad, let them know when they're going to stab you. Just before they do, hold the stick in the direction you want to go and you'll power slide to safety. It usually drives snipers nuts.
